Decks and Composites

We are an authorized installer for Trex decks. We also install all other quality composite decks. Composite decks are great for the homeowner who wants a maintenance-free deck that will last a lifetime. Keep in mind, while we only charge for actual materials used, composite decks are usually about 3 times more expensive than a traditional wood deck. For the more budget-minded homeowner, we can design and install a traditional pressure-treated wood deck and rail system. We prefer to use kiln-dried lumber for less shrinkage of your new deck. We always “overbuild” our decks to ensure that they will last for many years of enjoyment. A typical deck that we build will have 5/4 board decking, 2X10 joists on 12” centers, steel joist hangers, 6X6 posts in concrete, and a custom rail with 2” spindles on 4” centers, all built to local codes and specifications.
